Hours – Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30 (50% telecommute considered)
Seeking marketing & public relations professional in our Raleigh office to assist consulting and conferencing division of our global consulting firm. Position involves contact with company project managers and key account managers to understand projects and market trends. Essential to have good understanding of our business and jargon used throughout the industry. Will identify target markets and develop strategy to market company for consulting and conferencing, identify key goals, objectives and analyze effectiveness of marketing material and efforts.
Position will manage allocation of resources and budget for producing and distributing marketing material and coordinate the design, production and writing of marketing material for articles and publications, leveraging corporate design and brand into the marketplace. Will participate in industry associations and media events and may assist in conference delegate and sponsorship acquisition. Position will provide training and coaching to staff on the effective use of marketing material.
Requires a creative thinker, problem solver, and self motivator driven to meet or exceed company and consumer expectations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with graphic design software for layout and design of corporate material, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and internet navigation.
Requires B.A. in marketing, advertising or public relations and at least 2 years experience in sales/marketing/public relations. Salary commensurate with education and experience. Excellent benefits package. Relocation may be considered. Must be willing to travel occasionally.
