T.A. Cook Creates New Research Division
T.A. Cook Consultants have created a new department dedicated to research. Its primary focus is to publish reports on subjects related to the management of capital-intensive assets and achieve long-term value enhancement for industrial asset performance management. The studies will discuss new issues and topics and offer innovative techniques and approaches to problem solving.
“With new Research & Studies, we offer our clients a further opportunity to gain access to our know-how,” says Dr. Dirk Meissner, Manager of the new division, “We deliver in-depth, scientific analyses of relevant issues, drawing on the practical experience and competences of our highly qualified consultants. We can now provide clients with important data and information on markets and trends together with viable solutions.”
The new function will benefit from T.A. Cook’s internal synergies too: supported on the one hand by the highly specialised, proven expertise of the Consulting division and on the other, by the Conference division which maintains ongoing contact with industry experts. This network ensures that the studies are always up to date on topical questions and problems affecting industry. T.A. Cook research will provide a theoretical foundation for these questions, examine issues in an international context, offer alternative strategies for different market scenarios and help to generate new knowledge in the area of management and markets.
Currently in preparation are market studies dealing with the following topics: technical services for shutdowns in petrochemical plants; operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms; benefits and potential of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems for maintenance.
T.A. Cook was founded in 1994 and now employs 70 people worldwide. Complementing Consulting and Conferences, Research & Studies is the third business division founded by the specialists in Asset Performance Management.
